Fruits and vegetables
In the fruit and vegetable storage process, cleaning is not usually a well developed factor due to the fact that they are not handled much. Normally, cleaning is focused on the chambers, the boxes and on the conveyor belts, where very basic protocols are carried out, except when handling products from the pre-prepared or pre-cooked range (which entails greater handling and product packaging). For the cleaning and disinfection of these industrial units the following are normally used:
Alkaline foam detergents IA-751 or alkaline chlorine foaming agents IA-703C for the general cleaning and disinfection and for the boxes.
Disinfectant detergents based on quaternary ammonia to clean the conveyor belts classifiers, processing machinery… where the foods pass Desincol.
